The Library takes you to the Bogotá International Book Fair

All interested can participate in different activities and obtain tickets to the 31st version of this important Fair.

The Bogotá International Book Fair, FilBo 2018, is held April 17 through May 2, 2018, and the Library wants the Externadista community to attend the event.

To this end, the Library has 70 admission tickets, available April 17-26, 2018, by participating in any of the following:

  • The library Recommends: 20 tickets for this mode.
    Argentina is the FilBo guest country, and in our recommended for the month, as well as the novelties, there are about 57 titles relating to this country. From these, we have randomly selected 20 books which, when taken out on loan, will award the user an admission ticket to the Fair. When you receive your ticket, take a picture with the book, and share this image on the Facebook Library profile, with the hashtag #FanBiblioteca.
  • Culture without borders:
    The Library carries out several programs together with other University units: The Externadista Cinema Club; the Externadista Poetry Club; Discussion Scenarios; the Subject Is Poetry; Complete Things; PAVIVIR, and the Progoff Intensive Journal. Using hashtag #FanBiblioteca, show you are a follower of the programs, indicating what you like most about them, in the Facebook Library profile. The 10 most creative answers will win tickets to the FilBo. Winners will be announced April 26 through the Library Facebook page.
  • Un libro por centavos: at the FilBo, the Collection will launch two new titles, on April 30, at 3:30 pm at the Corferias “María Mercedes Carranza” Room.  If wishing to attend, load a video, of maximum one minute, on the Facebook Library profile, telling us which is your favorite book,  author, or poem of the “Un libro por centavos” Collection. Make sure to use hashtag #FanBiblioteca. The first 40 persons complying with this requirement will receive an admission ticket to the FilBo.

The winners of the Culture without borders and the “Un libro por centavos” can claim their tickets as of April 27, 2018, Library, Room 2, at 1:30 pm.

With these activities, the Library joins the Bogotá International Book Fair program, with the support of the Colombian Book Chamber, entity offering the tickets to Externadistas.
