La Biblioteca de la Universidad Externado de Colombia presenta el ciclo de conferencias sobre “uso de la información para la investigación” como un espacio para compartir temas de interés asociados al ciclo de la investigación (planeación, investigación activa, publicación, evaluación y preservación).
The objective of this cycle of talks is to offer participants the key elements that focus on the ethical use of information, and the tools that facilitate the prevention of plagiarism, so as to help the writing process for academic documents.

Guest speaker:
Brenda Salas Pasuy. A law graduate from the Externado Univesity with a Ph.D. in Private Law from the University of Paris II. She is a specialist in Intellectual Property from the Externado University.
She is currently working as a professor and researcher in the Department of Intellectual Property at the Externado University, and as Coordinator of the research group in the same Department. She is a consultant in topics relating to intellectual property and private law.

Speaker from Externado Library :
Fredy Mauricio Pérez Arcila is a candidate on the Master’s programme for Strategic Management of Technology at the Externado University. He is a specialist in Information Systems from the La Salle University
He is currently working as Coordinator of Research Services in the library of the Externado University.
