Specialization in Regulation and Management of Telecommunications and New Technologies

The Externado de Colombia Telecommunications Law Department initiates its Conference cycle.

Within the conclusion of the 2017-2018 Specialization in Regulation and Management of Telecommunications and New Technologies and the beginning of a new edition, in September 2018, the Department invites to the traditional “Information Technologies and Communications Conference Cycle.” The meetings feature various personalities from the country’s telecommunications and ICT sector, who will address different topics, in an academic environment.

This cycle will revolve around two themes: first, disruptive technologies and their impact on current regulatory models; and, second, the postal sector, e-commerce, and its significance in the digital economy.

Also, the closing conference, offered by Dr. Juan Sebastián Rozo, outgoing ICT Minister, will discuss the Digital Reinvention process and the challenges in this new environment. Dr. Rozo is an attorney with a Specialization in Regulation and Management of Telecommunications and New Technologies from this House of Studies.
