Seminar: “Perspectives of Colombian taxation in the light of the Spanish experience”
Participating in this event are officials from the State Council, the DIAN, the Bogotá Treasury, and Externado professors.
The Escuela Judicial Rodrigo Lara Bonilla, together with the Externado de Colombia University, hold this event to discuss the Simple Tax Regime and the constitutional and theoretical basis of indirect and objective tax estimating methods. The analysis will be made from the Spanish simplified taxation regimes experience.
For the above purpose, the event features participation by guest professor Juan Arrieta (Universidad Autónoma de Madrid), as well State Council, DIAN, Bogotá Treasury officials, and Externado professors.
Additionally, on May 30, 2019, Professor Arrieta will offer the Conference “Computer science incidence in taxation: information sharing and protection.” After the talk, there will be a discussion panel with other experts on the subject, at the national level. Following is the agenda for that day:
Lastly, on Friday, May 31, 2019, Professor Arrieta will offer a talk on the importance of research in Tax Law. The chat, from 8:00 to 10:00 am, will be held in Room 603.
