The professor was elected “Valedictorian,” an Anglo-Saxon tradition, awarded to the best graduate student in each class and who delivers the closing or farewell statement at the graduation ceremony.

Dr. Aguilar is a professor-researcher at the Externado de Colombia University Mining Energy Law Department. She is an expert in the regulation of new technologies in the electricity sector, renewable energies, electrical ‘prosumers,’ and energy transition. Currently, she is researching hydrogen integration in Colombia.

The professor was a beneficiary of the University’s scholarship program. Thanks to the support provided by our House of Studies, she had the opportunity to carry out her Master’s and Doctoral studies abroad.
