
Call for proposals to be published in the Revista Latinoamericana en Discapacidad, Sociedad y Derechos Humanos
The Journal will accept articles until May 18, 2018. Selected proposals will be published in the Journal’s fourth volume, in August 2018.
The project is headed by the Ibero-American Network of Experts on the Convention on the Rights of Individuals with Disabilities, through the cooperative work between our House of studies and other Latin American universities.
This time, the Academic Council has determined to focus on:
Political and Legal Sciences: special consideration will be given to contributions related to:
- Reforms or reform proposals to national legislation in the area of intellectual property and implementation of the Treaty of Marrakech.
- Support to the legal capacity and mental health practice; sexual and reproductive rights of persons with disabilities; rights of children and adolescents with disabilities.
- National and international jurisprudence addressing the issues described above
Social, Human and Health Sciences: special consideration will be given to contributions related to:
- Support and emotional containment of individuals with disabilities for decision-making; adaptive technologies, and accessibility developments.
- Disability Gender perspectives
The Latin American Journal on Disability, Society, and Human Rights is a biannual publication originated from the Ibero-American Network of Experts on the Convention on the Rights of Individuals with Disabilities, promoted by the institutions forming the organization, working its contents from a multidisciplinary approach.
