Moghrey mie! Jole was born and raised on the Isle of Man before moving to England to study History and Criminology at the University of Sheffield. After earning his CELTA, he taught in Japan, China, Russia, and Romania before settling in Colombia. He has experience teaching at universities in the UK and Colombia, as well as working on international education projects in Africa and the Middle East.
A passionate music lover, Jole enjoys making music, attending concerts, and DJing at home. He also loves traveling off the beaten path, exploring Colombia’s jungles, mountains, and coastlines. In his free time, he plays football and cycles around Bogotá—when the sun is out, of course.
Moghrey mie! (Buenos días en manés, idioma de la Isla de Man). Jole nació y se crio en la Isla de Man antes de mudarse a Inglaterra para estudiar Historia y Criminología en la Universidad de Sheffield. Después de obtener su diploma CELTA, enseñó en Japón, China, Rusia y Rumania antes de establecerse en Colombia. Tiene experiencia docente en universidades en el Reino Unido y en Colombia y ha trabajado en proyectos educativos internacionales en África y el Medio Oriente.
Es un apasionado de la música: disfruta hacer música, ir a conciertos y ser DJ en su propia casa. Ama viajar fuera de los caminos trillados, y explorar las selvas, montañas y costas colombianas. En su tiempo libre juega fútbol y anda en bicicleta por Bogotá, ¡cuando está haciendo sol, claro está!
