María Andrea Martín-Leyes Aldana. Born in Barranquilla, Colombia. Holds a degree in Modern Language Teaching (Pontificia Universidad Javeriana), a Specialization in Educational Management (Universidad de La Sabana) and a Master’s degree in Education and Technology (University College London). With ample experience in university teaching of English as a foreign language and academic writing consulting in different contexts. Characterized by a high degree of creativity in the design, development, implementation and evaluation of educational solutions with the use of ICTs.
Investigated the social norms embedded in the use of Telepresence Robots in educational settings (2019), he also carried out a feasibility study for the creation of a language school in Barranquilla (2016), as well as research on the relationship between strategies and learning styles in the performance of oral expression at the upper-intermediate French level of the Bachelor’s Degree in Modern Languages at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (2015).
Her hobbies include traveling, healthy cooking, running, dancing, learning new things, and art in all its forms.
