Webinar: Creating HyperDocuments for developing student autonomy

HyperDocuments or “HyperDocs” are useful tools for teachers wishing to manage student-centered learning through technology and seeking to generate meaningful and collaborative learning and active interaction with the content.

During the Webinar (online conference, workshop, or seminar) participants will get to know the HyperDocuments concept and the basic steps for their creation, view some examples, and have access to construction and planning templates.

The session will be headed by Carolina Rodríguez Buitrago, a teacher at the Institución Universitaria Colombo Americana – ÚNICA – in Bogotá, Colombia. “She is an editor of the “Education and Learning Research Journal – Gist” – academic journal, and one of the international delegates participating in the review and evaluation of flipped learning standards, issued recently by the “Academy of Active Learning Arts and Sciences.” This year, Professor Rodríguez joined the list of 50 educators with successful implementations of flipped learning in higher education (FLGI 50). Her research work focuses on flipped learning and its effects on learning foreign languages, self-regulation, student autonomy, and the impact on future educators.
