# Mónica Andrea González

**Cargo:** Docente

Born in the late 80s in Bogota, Mónica has worked as an English teacher at private and public institutions for more than 10 years. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English and Spanish teaching from Universidad Pedagógica Nacional and she is currently doing a master’s degree in Education at Universidad Externado de Colombia. Monica does not miss an opportunity to take a course or attend a seminar on educational issues, and she has a strong interest in academic writing, public speaking and materials development.

Beyond the classroom, she finds joy in the world of music, not only as a listener but also as a performer. She also has a deep passion for cinema. Last but not least, Monica enjoys riding her motorbike and trying the local cuisine of the places she visits.
