This embroidery features the phrase \"Two hundred years under the freedom of the corrupt,\" framed by a golden border. At the crest, the national coat of arms stands out, surrounded by laurel wreaths, shields, and caricatured faces resembling the founding fathers. Velandia delivers a sharp critique of national pride stained by political corruption in the country. In this regard, Article 290 of the Constitution establishes the principles of administrative function, aiming for equity, equality, justice, and human dignity. Constitutional Court ruling C-397 of 1998 considers corruption a practice that undermines the purposes of the state and the common benefit of all citizens. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
