\ncoca leaves and bones<\/p>\n

This artwork made of coca leaves contains a poignant paradox: on one hand, peace is represented by yellowed bones of the dead, while on the other, the greenery of the leaves symbolises nature, contrasting with the skeletal effect of narcotrafficking. Qui\u00f1ones reflects simply and directly on the diverse uses of coca: as a hallucinogen, a source of livelihood for peasants, and part of ethnic and cultural wealth. Death blurs into the landscape. The 2016 Peace Agreement, ratified by referendum, included a section on illicit drug policy. This mechanism, contemplated in Article 103 of the Constitution, was declared constitutional by the Constitutional Court in ruling C-379 of 2016.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
