Externado Fifth Employability Conference was a big success

The event, with the participation of various companies and organizations, was held with the aim to promote activities allowing our students and alumni to stand out in the job market.

Throughout the day, participants had the opportunity to interact in workshops and conferences geared to learning the skills for successful job search.

The activities were conducted by Human Resource Management experts from national and multinational companies. Based on their experience, they offered the Externadista community ideas on how to positively stand out in selection processes.

Additionally, participants had the opportunity to obtain and exchange information on their internship possibilities with representatives of more than 30 companies. Among the participating companies were Nestle, Unilever, Bayer, Alpina, Davivienda, Michael Page, and Pfizer.

Another significant aspect of the Employability Conference were the talks on executive leadership, occupational networks, happiness at work, emotional salary, entrepreneurship, adaptability, and learning. These meetings helped attendees learn ways to identify leadership, job skills, tools for successful teamwork, and motivation at work. The majority of the speakers agreed that adaptability to change and proactive capability are among the characteristics most sought by employers.

The Fair was organized by the Business Administration, Law, and Finance, Government and International Relations Faculties.
