The professor was one of the winners of the entrepreneurial journalism training scholarship awarded by SembraMedia, an international NGO organization seeking to promote native digital media in Latin America, focusing on its sustainability. The stimulus, offered together with Google News Initiative, is a collaborative initiative with the news industry to help journalism thrive in the digital age.
Enrique Santamaría Echeverría, professor-researcher at the Center for Studies on Genetics and Law, successfully defended his doctoral dissertation at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, a higher learning institution in the Netherlands.
