The award was presented to Juan Carlos Henao, Externado University Rector, and Alejandro Beltrán, Dean of the School of Management, at a ceremony attended by directives of our House of Studies.
The Externado Social and Human Sciences Faculty together with the Geographical Union of Latin America and the Geographical Society of Colombia invited Mexican scholar Bonifacio Pérez to discuss the importance of Geography in primary and higher education.
During her speech, María José Figueroa mentioned the importance of having well-trained educators, the dignity of the profession, and the need to recognize different forms of learning, among other topics.
