
Registration opens for the Future Business Leaders Training Program
The Externado Business Administration Faculty invites 11th-grade or recent high-school graduates interested in studying Business Administration or related fields, to participate in this free training program.
Registration deadline is August 4, 2017. The program is directed to students interested in pursuing undergraduate Business Administration studies at the Externado, and wishing to learn, beforehand, about the business world.
The Future Business Leaders Training Program is free of charge and has the goal to prepare and inform high-school students on University life.
During the course, participants will learn about the business world, innovative proposals, sales, and how to successfully run a business.
The course encompasses four modules:
Module I: What is a company and what is its significance?
Module II: How to successfully manage a company
Module III: How to develop innovative proposals
Module IV: How to sell a business idea
The course consists of two parts:
- Virtual sessions: August 22 through August 25, 2017
- Face-to face sessions: August 28, 29, and 30, 2017
Classes will be held at the Externado University from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Those wishing to apply must keep in mind the program is only for current 11th-grade students or recent high-school graduates. Also, a motivation letter, stating why you wish to apply to the Business Administration course must be submitted.
The following documents are also required:
- Letter of authorization or approval from the school attended (for current students)
- A photocopy of both sides of the student’s ID card, enlarged to 150%
- Written permission from the parents.
Note: Receipt of documents does not imply registration in the Program.
