MARIA CLAUDIA ROMERO AMAYA

A professional in Government and International Relations, with a specialization in Government, Management and Public Affairs and a Master’s in Government and Public Policy from the Universidad Externado de Colombia. Graduate of the program of Formation of the Instructors in Social Responsibility of REDUNIRSE, PNUD and the Universidad de Barcelona. Currently, she is a doctoral student in Political Studies in the Faculty of Finance, Government and International Relations and acts as Director of the Master’s in Social Responsibility and Sustainability and for the Specialization in Corporate Social Responsibility at the Universidad Externado de Colombia. She has previously been the director of the District Recycling Program at the Mayor’s Office of Bogotá, Coordinator of the Specialization in International Cooperation of the Universidad Externado de Colombia, Consultant for the Universidad Complutense of Madrid on Institutional Research Quality in Colombia, Consultant for the National Institute on Higher Education of Ecuador on themes of Social Responsibility in public companies, Editor and co-author of the book “When the South thinks South”: the twists and turns on International Cooperation on Development” and the editor of four folders that reinforce the Bank of Case Studies on Social Responsibility and Sustainability.

ALEJANDRO WILCHES

Business Administrator, Specialist in Upper Management with a Master’s in Social Responsibility and Sustainability from the Universidad Externado de Colombia, with more than 20 years of experience in Sustainability, Corporate Social Responsibility, Human Management and Social Investment. Experience in the design, implementation, execution, follow-up and auditing of strategic projects and reports and the monitoring of Sustainability in companies in Colombia and Chile, some of which are Grupo Exito, Cerrejón, LAN Airlins, Grupo Entel, Pacific Rubiales, GEA, Grupo Argos and Grupo Sura, among others. Was the Manager of Sustainability and Climatic Change in PricewaterhouseCoopers, Colombia, where he also worked in Chile in the period between 2010-2011 developing Corporate Sustainable projects. Currently the Director of the consulting department on Sustainability of Contreebute in the city of Medellin.

ÁNGELA RIVAS

Anthropologist from the Universidad de los Andes, with a doctoral degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology from the Universidad de Rice. Currently a professor in the subject of Business and Human Rights. Has more than 10 years of experience working in areas such as development and peace and human rights. The main themes addressed have been: The management of relations with the members of the private sector, government and civil society at the national and local levels; Research practice and development of tools for the promotion of private practices and public policy; Mobilization of the business sector towards work in human rights and peace building; The generation of theoretical and practical knowledge on the operation and management of businesses in times of conflict, weak governance and institutional fragility; The generation of multi-actor dialog dynamics.
