The program of Specialization in Government, Management and Public Affairs was created in 1995 under the umbrella of the core principles of the University, such as the teaching of democracy for living together in harmony with the guarantee of human rights and the integral development of the Nation.
Candidate Profile
The specialization aims to contribute to the formation of political leaders and directors to be able to assume the challenge of leading government entities and leaders of public and private companies.

Graduate profile
The graduate of the specialization shall be able to work as a decision maker in all the sectors, a manager of relations between the public and private sectors as well as guaranteeing the efficient use of State resources. They can also take part in the creation, implementation and evaluation of public policies.

- The alumni of this program shall have professional skills that allow them to respond successfully to the demands of the labor market.
- It allows for studying more in-depth in the areas of public management (New Public Management, innovation in public management), decision making, creation and evaluation of public policies.
- It offers the possibility of homologating and going on to do the Master’s in Government and Public Policy.
