The Master's Degree in Evaluation and Contracting for Public Projects provides detailed training on the contracting processes of the public administration with individuals, by analyzing the constitutional, legal and jurisprudential foundations, as well as the theoretical and practical elements for the formulation and evaluation of public projects, by deepening the understanding of public management, resources, their monitoring and evaluation.

The competencies that the students of the Master in Evaluation and Contracting of Public Projects will develop are:

  • Understanding of the state contracting policy in Colombia, as well as an analysis compared with the regimes of other jurisdictions.
  • Development and application of empirical methods and use of theoretical foundations for the economic and legal analysis of cases related to state contracting.
  • Discussion capacity, based on economic, financial, and legal foundations, on contemporary issues on the formulation and evaluation of public projects.
  • Understand the constitutional and legal language in public procurement.
  • Propose solutions to problems related to the State and the processes of contracting public projects.
