Participate in the Foundation for Continental Law Summer University

Every year, the Foundation holds an international meeting congregating university students, Law professionals, and, in general, people interested in the Continental Law legal culture.

The Summer University will be held at the University Paris 2 Panthéon – Assas, July 2-20, 2018. The goal of the academic activity is to provide participants certain knowledge of Continental Law, its evolution, and its influence on the legal and economic models currently under construction throughout the world.

To participate in the Summer University, applicants must have completed a minimum three- year legal studies cycle. Also, a good language knowledge level is required, as courses are imparted in English, French, and Spanish.

Cost for registration, including classes, conferences, visits, and welcome cocktails:

  • 500 euros without accommodations

1,500 euros with accommodations at the Paris International University

The courses, 10 hours each, are offered by professors and professionals of various nationalities, eminent international specialists in Civil Law and Comparative Law.

Students may select three of the following courses:

  • International Conflict Resolution
  • Intellectual and Industrial Property
  • Comparative Constitutional Law
  • European Civil Liability Law
  • Public Contracts
  • European and International Contract Law
