Memorandum of Understanding between the University of Florida and the Externado
In mid-2019, with the signing of a memorandum of understanding, the two universities confirmed their intention to establish a mechanism to facilitate and develop opportunities for educational cooperation.
The two higher education institutions will promote cooperation through reciprocal visits by professors and students from the universities’ Law schools, for research purposes or other educational activities.
Undergraduate and graduate students will have the opportunity to pursue an academic exchange at the U.S. university. Publications and academic information will also be exchanged.
Colombian students interested in participating in academic activities in the United States must comply with the regulations of the U.S. Embassy in Colombia and the University of Florida requirements in order to apply for the exchange program.
The memorandum of understanding will be effective for the 2019-2020 academic year and will remain in effect for five additional calendar years.
