Scholarships at Tsinghua University in Beijing
The Internationalization and Foreign Relations Office shares the following information on Tsinghua University so our students may learn about the Masters in Global Affairs scholarship program available.
Schwarzman Scholars offers a highly selective and fully funded scholarship program at the prestigious Tsinghua University in Beijing. The program was designed to ensure that the next generation of business, political, and civil society leaders may serve as a bridge between China and the rest of the world. The initiative recruits promising young leaders, educating them on the role of China, through a one-year Masters in Global Affairs program, and linking them with well-known mentors and young China leaders.
The 2020-2021 call, open to individuals under the age of 28, begins April 2019, with selections made in November 2019. Applicants with Chinese passports may apply through May 2019, with selections in September 2019.
The scholarship beneficiaries sharpen their leadership skills through a curriculum designed by prominent academics from around the world and frequent interactions with distinguished professors and guest speakers. All classes are imparted in English; however, students also have the opportunity to study Mandarin.
