Chinese Studies Research Scholarship for Foreign Academics

All interested individuals must complete the online form before May 31, 2018, and submit, via email, the required documentation to the Center for Chinese Studies.

The Center for Chinese Studies (CCS) opens a call for the “Research Grant for Foreign Scholars in Chinese Studies” program, seeking experts and intellectuals to conduct research on Taiwan and its sinology.

The program is aimed at Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, post-doctoral researchers, and doctoral candidates or researchers from academic institutes.

The fellowship includes:

  • Roundtrip Airfare- Bogota – Taipei – Bogotá: Direct route, in economy class
  • A monthly subsidy ranging from 1,300 USD approximately, up to 2,000 USD approximately, depending on the academic title
  • Accident insurance

Please note research tenure is for one-month minimum, and one-year maximum.

Also, please submit are a résumé (including a list of publications), a research plan (the selection Committee bases their decision mainly on the proposed research), and at least one letter of recommendation (one copy with original signature) to email address ccsgrant@msg.ncl.edu.tw.

The CCS decision will be announced by the end of August 2018.
