Twente University Professor Visited Universidad Externado de Colombia

As part of the ‘Open Knowledge’ International Cycle of conferences, which is organised by the Faculty of Finance, Government, and International Relations (FIGRI), René Torenvlied, professor in the field of Public Administration at the University of Twente, Netherlands, visited our alma mater.

Torenvlied delivered talks to students who are pursuing a master’s degree in Management for Development, as well as to others undertaking postgraduate studies. They are part of the Centre of Investigations and Special Projects (CIPE in FIGRI).

The professor met the University Chancellor, Hernando Parra Nieto. They discussed the option of expanding the long-established academic collaboration between Twente University and Externado de Colombia University. In particular, they focused on the faculties of Finance, Government and International Relations, and Business Administration.
