The Finance, Government and International Relations Faculty invites to the meeting, at the Externado, on November 1, 2017.

Within the framework of the strategy to strengthen relations between Colombia and Asia, the Presidential Agency for International Cooperation invited different Asian countries to exchange ideas and experiences on social development and construction of peace issues.  This time, the meeting welcomes the Technical Mission for an exchange of experiences on the multidimensional poverty index and the gross national happiness index in the Kingdom of Bhutan.

The Mission will have participation by Chemy Namgay, Planning Officer, and Sonam Tobgyal, Research Deputy Director of the Gross National Happiness Commission, who will offer the conference “Bhutan and development of the happiness index,” on Wednesday, November 1, 2017.

With this visit to the Externado, the Colombian Academia seeks an approach to the experience of Bhutan on the development of multidimensional indices for the reduction of poverty, and identify new tools for the analysis and design of public policies aimed at the solution of this problem.
