Time: 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Place: building I, red auditorium - virtual
Arqueolombia reconstructs the historical memory of Colombia, presenting the elements, places and cultures that inhabited the country, from the hand of archaeologists and professionals working for the Colombian heritage.
At the preview to be held at the Externado, the directors of the series will discuss the challenges of production in the midst of the pandemic and the secrets and advances of each of the four episodes of the series.
With a particular look from the perspective of the filmmakers, the documentary explores the most important studies, discoveries and stories about Colombian archaeology.
In its first season, the series toured four points of the country’s geography exploring the most recent and innovative archaeological findings, valuable for Latin American historical memory. These places are: Facatativá Archaeological Park, “The mural of our history”; La Cristalina, “The secret archaeological museum”; Santa María Antigua del Darién, “The first city of America”; “El infiernito”, the cradle of Villa de Leyva.
We invite you to make history with our story. The series will be broadcasted starting October 30 on Señal Colombia.
