Webinar: “Reflections on the return to school. A view from the public sector”

The Externado de Colombia University and its Education Sciences Faculty invite the community to participate in this academic event.

We are close to reaching the one-year mark of the measures taken to close schools due to the pandemic generated by COVID-19. The return to official schools under the alternate modality was currently allowed as of February 15, 2021. However, to date, the majority of public school students have not returned to their face-to-face classes through this modality. In the case of Bogotá, very few educational institutions have returned to ‘face-to-face’ mode.

In light of this situation, we want to take advantage of this webinar to learn first-hand about the first reflections on children’s return to their schools. Thoughts will be approached from the public sector, based on the Débora Arango official school’s experience, one of the first official institutions to operate under the hybrid model.
