XX International Environmental Law Conference

National and international experts and government agencies representatives will participate in the event, with the central theme of Water Law.
On October 24-26, 2018, an event seeking to examine Water Law from multiple legal-environmental perspectives and the complex relationship of water resources with all spheres of Environmental Law studies will be held. The event is organized within the celebration of the Environmental Law Department’s 20th anniversary.
The International Environmental Law Conference will focus on the study of Colombian and international Water Law. The meeting will address key topics such as technical, historical, and constitutional bases; waters domain; the institutionality of waters in Colombia; the human right to water and water rights; financial and economic instruments for water management; nexus water – productive sectors; International Water Law, and the impact on water resources, among other topics.
The event is directed to Law, Economics, and related field professionals, national environmental entities, as well as professionals involved in the areas of hydrocarbons, mining, public services, and infrastructure.
