The Constitutional Law Department invites to participate in the first workshop of the Business and Human Rights research line.
The event theme is “Past and future Business and Human Rights National Plans: Colombia challenges.” Guests invited to address the issue are Amanda Romero, researcher and senior South America representative of the Business and Human Rights Resource Center; Carolina Olarte, Director of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana Center for Studies on International Law; Nicolás Carrillo, Professor of the Universidad de la Sabana, and Externado de Colombia University Professor Julián Tole Martinez.
The workshop aims to analyze the effects of the Colombia Business and Human Rights National Plan implemented by former President Juan Manuel Santos, and the challenges in creating a new instrument by President Iván Duke.
