The Externado Constitutional Law Department, Fémina Fútbol, and AFUTCOL will hold this virtual event.
For the enjoyment of lovers of women’s soccer, and committed to the current situation in our country, we offer this analysis and discussion space to enrich the gender equality concept in the sports sector and analyze the current status of women’s soccer in Colombia, in light of the COVID-19 crisis.
The topic will be approached from a practical, legal, and associative perspective, to generate useful proposals and reflections, and actively interacting with the opinions and concerns of the interested public.

Social Communicator and Journalist from the Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia, with research on social imagery, women’s soccer communication strategies, and director of the Fémina Fútbol Magazine.
· Sandra Milena Sepúlveda Lopera
Colombian professional soccer player and Physical Education student at the Jaime Isaza Cadavid Colombian Polytechnic.
· María José García Suárez
Law graduate from the Universidad de los Andes, with a Master’s in International Sports Law from the University of Lleida, and Vice President of AFUTCOL.
· Oriánica Velásquez Herrera
Colombian professional soccer player, Pan American Gold 2019, and Health Administrator from Indiana University Bloomington.
· Félix Andrés Burgos Méndez
Externado de Colombia University Law graduate, with a Master’s in Sports Law from the Real Madrid University School – EU, and Sports Law Professor-Researcher at the Externado de Colombia University.
