The Economics Law Department invites to this talk, open to all interested in the topic; the event promotes an examination of the evolution of the sovereignty concept based from world globalization.
The seminar will be held as an open workshop, discussing the different approaches to the concept of sovereignty in the era of globalization, as well as its constitutional and international scope and implications.
The meeting will also address the current role of the State and where the power lies to exercise controls on economic, social, and security matters.
The event is open to undergraduate students and is free of charge.
