Fecha: 08 of november
Time: 7:00 am - 9:00 am
Place: D-604 (Auditorio)
The Administrative Law Research Group invites the academic community to its eighth and final session of the year.
On this occasion, the seminar will be devoted to the Panel Discussion “20 Years of Law 472 of 1998: contributions and discussions on popular actions in Colombian Administrative Law.” Externado professors, Drs. Sergio González Rey and Julián Pimiento, and Dr. Carolina Leal, Auxiliary Judge of the First Section of the Council of State, will discuss the main advances and dilemmas originated by this important collective rights defense instrument in the twenty years of its special legislation.
Discussions include the incidence of the above figure in national Administrative Law, as well as in the development of its Administration judicial control system, and the rebalancing of powers inherent to the Constitutional Rule of Law established by the 1991 Constitution.
The issues mentioned above will be the focal points of the discussion by our guests at this special session of the Discussion Seminar, which expects to confirm the crucial importance of popular actions within our current legal system.
We look forward to having you there and your active participation.
