Seminar on International Law and Global Governance: “Investment Arbitration, Environment, and Consultations: from Santurbán to Cajamarca”

The Economics Law Department invites to the meeting on July 5, 2018.

The seminar features a discussion on the environment and mining in the State regulatory space, within the context of investment demands.  It will address the friction between International Law and local Law, and the decrease or loss of this space, including the courts, and also, the effects of third-party funding, as a transfer of income and speculation.
