Second Edition: Public Lighting Regulation Update Course

The Mining-Energy Law Department invites to participate in the course which will address tax matters and the inspection, monitoring, and control systems, among other topics.

The first Public Lighting Regulation Update Course, held in 2018, addressed different topics that left important conclusions for the sector. In 2019, the Second Edition will be held taking into account the major changes and the current service panorama.

This time, the new public lighting service legal framework, the regulatory changes, and jurisprudential progress will be studied. Also, the contractual mechanisms relating to public lighting will be analyzed.

The tax aspects and the public lighting service inspection, monitoring, and control systems will also be addressed.

In light of the technological changes and recent innovations surrounding the service, modern topics such as smart and renewable-energy cities will be addressed. Lastly, the course proposes the study of relevant cases.

The course will be imparted on an active Chair modality; thus, Certificates will be awarded to those attending 80 percent of the course hours.
