Center for Studies – “European Union General Data Protection Regulation: News and scope”

The Economics Law Department invites all interested to the next Center for Studies encounter, July 12, 2018.

In 2016, the European Union issued the new General Data Protection Regulation, which became effective May 25, 2018. Taking into account the context, the Center for Studies seeks to explore the innovations contained in the regulation, especially, those regarding security and transparency of information.

Also, the event plans to review the Regulation’s scope and application effect on people outside the European Union.
