Date: 25 of march of 2020

Time: 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Place: Virtual. The link will be sent via email to those registered.

This online conference aims to clarify basic concepts and answer questions about use for academic purposes in digital contexts.

The use of digital content has become a necessity for teachers, researchers, and students. However, most of these contents are protected by copyrights; thus, it is necessary to know to what extent it is possible to use works by third parties and the requirements to do so.

What this webinar seeks is to clarify the basic concepts of copyrights and respond to concerns about their use for academic purposes and in digital contexts.

Diego Guzmán will guide this webinar. He is an Externado de Colombia University Law graduate. He has a Master’s (LLM) in Intellectual Property from the Cardozo School of Law of Yeshiva University, New York, and a Specialization in Industrial Property, Copyright, and New Technologies from the Externado de Colombia University.
