Lugar: salle 2 de la Bibliothèque de notre Université
The Interdisciplinary Studies Institute and the Library invite the Externadista community to enjoy the screening of the French-Polish movie Three Colors: Blue, on Thursday, October 12, 2017.
In the second semester of 2017, the Externadista Cinema Club presents a series of films with an “Urban Life” theme. This cycle comprises 15 important national and international full-length features and short films. The theme is addressed by a journey through the history of cinema.
To analyze these productions, in their artistic and historical context, film critic and cinema professor, Mauricio Laurens, introduces the films and provides discussion parameters.
The Club meets on Thursdays, 3:00 pm, at the Library, Room 2.
Our next session, October 12, 2017, features the film, Three Colors: Blue, by Polish screenwriter and director Krzysztof Kieslowski. This movie, released in 1993, centers on the theme of French revolutionary ideals. It was followed by two others: Three Colors: White, and Three Colors: Red, representing the colors of the French flag.
