Fecha: 28 of september

Hora: 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Lugar: Salón 2, Biblioteca Universidad Externado

The Interdisciplinary Studies Institute and the Library invite the Externadista community to enjoy the screening of the movie Trainspotting, on Thursday, September 28, 2017.

In the second semester of 2017, the Externadista Cinema Club presents a series of films with an “Urban Life” theme.  This cycle comprises 15 important national and international full-length features and short films.  The theme is addressed by a journey through the history of cinema.

To analyze these productions, in their artistic and historical context, film critic and cinema professor, Mauricio Laurens, introduces the films and provides discussion parameters.

The Club meets on Thursdays, 3:00 pm, at the Library, Room 2.

Our next session, September 28, 2017, features the British film, Trainspotting, directed by Danny Boyle.  This drama, based on a novel of the same name by Irvine Welsh, was released in 1966. The movie tells the story of a group of young heroin addicts. The only one that tries to clean up and get out is Renton, played by Ewan McGregor.
