The Universidad Externado de Colombia and its School of Hospitality and Tourism Management invite you to participate in this academic event, which is part of the series of talks "Creatives and Innovators who inspire", organized by the Research Coordination of the Faculty.
This is the third seminar to be held in the second academic semester of 2021, and will reflect on rural tourism, which is an opportunity for areas populated by peasants, indigenous and Afro-Colombian peoples; it will also analyze the challenges presented by this activity, for example, how to carry out a truly sustainable activity, with environmental, socio-cultural and economic benefits for local communities; how to generate comprehensive welfare through tourism, both for visitors and for the societies that host them; and how to generate comprehensive welfare through tourism, both for visitors and for the societies that host them. To this end, Ana Milena Martínez, Manager of the Sustainable Tourism Consulting company, will share her experiences in this field of tourism development with the attendees.
