2019 Education Sciences Postgraduate Programs
In the first semester of 2019, the School of Education Sciences will offer three graduate programs directed to professionals in all areas currently working or wishing to work in education-related fields.
First, the “Masters in Evaluation and Quality Education Assurance” seeks to deepen in evaluation as a scientific discipline and develop students’ skills enabling them to design and implement evaluation and follow-up programs.
One of the novelties for next semester is a change in the program schedule. Classes will be held semi-monthly: Fridays 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm, and Saturdays 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. This timetable seeks to provide applicants with more flexibility in managing their work and class schedules.
On the other hand, in 2019, the Master’s in Education will be offered to the public in two modes – Research and Deepening. “The Masters in Education – Research” aims to train academic leaders who understand and solve educational problems from disciplinary and interdisciplinary perspectives, with ample knowledge of theoretical and methodological tools impacting the quality of education.
Classes for the above program will be held semi-monthly: Thursday and Friday at 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm, and Saturdays 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.
The “Master’s in Education – Deepening,” is geared to strengthen classroom educators’ training based on reflection of their everyday practices. In this way, teachers will critically approach the educational reality in its context and strengthen their basic areas teaching skills. The program will also be offered on a semi-monthly schedule: Fridays 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and Saturdays 7:00 am to 1:00 pm.
