Registration opens for the Specialization in Asset and Intellectual Property Valuation 2020-2021
To continue the consolidation process and promoting intellectual property in the country, the Externado Intellectual Property Department has opened registration for the above program.
Classes begin on October 28, 2020. Please note that the discounts awarded for health emergencies remain in force, and thus, registration for admission does not require payment.
The Specialization intends to train specialists and evaluators with the ability to carry out asset and intellectual property valuation, from a multidisciplinary perspective (legal, financial, and accounting), based on an updated valuation standards model conforming to national and international standards.
Along this line, the students’ profiles correspond to those involved or interested in IP (Intellectual Property) assets valuation processes. That is, different litigation level professionals, judicial or administrative authorities, shareholders, business directors and managers, researchers, and academics from any discipline, among others.
The program is supported by the research carried out by the Department of Intellectual Property, resulting in the publications «Estándares de valuación de activos intangibles de propiedad intellectual»” and «Valuación de Activos Intangibles de Propiedad Intelectual: Fundamentos económicos, jurídicos, financieros y contables.» The publications, within the framework of the International Financial Reporting Standards IFRS, the International Accounting Standards IAS, the Andean Decisions 486 of 2000 and 351 of 1993, and in general, the IP intangible assets regulation.
Registration is now open. The Externado de Colombia University reserves the right to close registration before the dates indicated in the admissions calendar.
Registration payment: No payment is due for 2020 registration fees.
