Registration opens for the ALARYS International Risk Manager AIRM – UEC Certification Program

This academic program seeks to provide participants with the fundamental knowledge for the identification, measurement, evaluation, control, mitigation, and monitoring of the risks to which public and private entities are exposed.

Likewise, the program aims to provide the tools allowing managing the risks and identifying the opportunities that can be exploited as competitive advantages in their business models.

Specific Requirements

Candidates applying for certification must complete the following:

a. Attend the following courses:

· Risk Management Practice – Basic Level

· Risk Management Practice – Advanced Level

· Risk Management in State Contracting and Infrastructure Projects

b. Take and pass two (2) exams (basic level and advanced level)

A minimum of seventy percent (70%) of the questions must be answered correctly to obtain a passing grade on each of these exams.

Academic Profile Requirements

Applicants must hold a university degree.

Professional Profile Requirements

Candidates must have a minimum professional experience of five (5) years in positions or activities related to any of the different activities related to risk management elements (policy, process, program, organizational operation), regardless of the type of risk (insurable, operational, financial, strategic, etc.).

Professional experience is that acquired after the completion and approval of all the subjects making up the academic curriculum of the respective vocational training, and the exercise of activities relating to the risk management system, endorsed by occupational certifications or services rendered. If lacking the endorsements mentioned, above, applicants must ascertain that within their organization, they are involved in risk management.
