Externadista, first place winner in the VII National Conference of Labor Law and Social Security Research Seedlings
It is fourth-year law student Liseth Natalia Huertas, who represented our House of Studies’ Labor Law Department at the meeting organized by the Colombian Labor Lawyers Association.
The student participated with her presentation, “Aplicación del Legaltech en el Derecho Laboral Colectivo” (Application of Legaltech in Collective Labor Law). She competed against ten other presentations by students from different educational institutions such as Universidad de la Sabana, Universidad de los Andes, Universidad del Norte, Universidad Javeriana, and Universidad del Rosario. The talks addressed issues such as the limits on working hours during the pandemic, physicians’ employment contracts in Colombia, employer’s disciplinary power in virtual labor relations, and the obligation of information in the process of ineffective regime transfer.
We congratulate Liseth for her excellent research work on this novel and topical subject, her mastery of the topic, and in general, her outstanding performance in the competition, heightening the name of the Externado de Colombia University
