Specialization in Environmental Law

Registration for this graduate program is now open in the cities of Bogotá, Medellín, and Cali.

The interdisciplinary academic program, comprising over 20 years of experience in the field, seeks the updating and detailed knowledge of the legal regime applicable to natural resources.

The program will address aspects such as formalities, permits, authorizations, and environmental licensing, as well as instruments for protection, conservation, proper management of the natural environment, the study of the environmental sanctioning procedure, and issues relating to environmental damage liability, among others.

The Externado and the Specialization in Environmental Law aim to contribute to the training of specialists in national and international environmental legislation, as well as basic environmental concepts, from an interdisciplinary perspective. Thus, the program is offered in Bogotá, Medellín, and Cali.

The course is directed to professionals from different branches of knowledge, having an interest in environmental issues, in the public sector, at national, departmental, municipal, or corporate levels, as well as professionals in the private industry responsible for making environmental legal-content decisions.
