
The Externado Hosts the Visit of 15 Students from Autonomous University of Nuevo León México, Monterrey Campus
On 21 June, 15 students from the Law program of the Autonomous University of Nuevo León México, Monterrey campus arrived at our Casa de Estudios (alma mater). They will participate in the summer courses in ‘Economic regulation in the energy, oil, and mining sector and in digital law: its applications and challenges’.
The Rector, Hernando Parra Nieto, and the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Emilssen González de Cancino, were in charge of welcoming the Mexican students to Externado. They will be in the country until 1 July 2022.
The students are accompanied by Professor María del Pilar Rodríguez Ibañez, who will develop research activities focused on topics related to communications and relationship management in the mining and energy sectors.
The students’ visit occurs in the frame of the cooperation arrange between the two universities, existing since 2016. The Mining and Energy Law Department of Externado University, on behalf of the Externadista community, is responsible for accompanying and guiding the students throughout their academic activities.
