Externado to convoke and select the Colombian universities participating in the 2018 International Environmental Congress

Stetson University, United States, has chosen our House of Studies to convene, at the national level, the university teams that will represent Colombia at the International Environmental Law Competition.

The International Environmental Law Moot Court Competition will be held March 22-24, 2018 in Gulfport, Florida.

Every year, universities from around the world participate in studying and arguing a hypothetical case before the International Court of Justice regarding the breach of international obligations by the State, derived from environmental treaties or conventions.

The Externado will host the Colombian national round to select the Colombian team that will represent the country in the final rounds of the competition.

Therefore, the Environmental Law Department invites all universities in the country to register to participate in the team selection before November 13, 2017.

The selection of the university group representatives will be held February 8-9, 2018, at the Externado de Colombia University.
