Externado Alumnus, Jaime Cabarcas, is Participating in the ICT Sector Handover Commission

Mr. Cabarcas is a specialist in Regulation and Management of Telecommunications and New Technologies, Universidad Externado de Colombia. He is currently pursuing a master’s in Public Law with an emphasis in Regulation and Management of Telecommunications.

A total of nine professionals from our University form part of the handover joint commission, between Ivan Duque’s government and the incoming government. Their role is to make recommendations on matters relating to the Information and Communications Technology sector.

“Participating in the handover process has been a great opportunity to contribute to the sector, with the experience and knowledge acquired, and with the aim of helping Gustavo Petro’s government accomplish the challenge of offering opportunities to the people through ICT. The next government will work on the pillars of participation, transparency, and efficiency,” affirmed Jaime Cabarcas.
