New edition of the “Un Libro por Centavos”

The Cultural Decanatura invites the Externadista community to view Book No. 143 of the collection, “La hierba abre su latido.”

The new book of the Collection was carefully selected and prepared by its author, Antioquia-native poet Yenny Leon, first prize recipient of the University National Poetry Competition- Externado de Colombia, for her poetry collection, “Ciega Luz.”

The jury states the book stands out for its language, rich in suggestions, managing to depict a world of joy and elaborate significance. The book proposes a poetic material, dense in its verbal construction and space games on the page, weaving a rhythm between voice and silence.

In 2018, the Cultural Decanatura has the goal of publishing young Colombian and Latin American poets, reflecting the new universal poetry. On the first pages of this anthology, readers will find the Externado Competition winning poems.

error tras error.
