“Un libro por centavos” Collection closes the year with book No. 152

At the end of this year, we vindicate Darío Samper, one of the most renowned “piedracielista” poets, whose work has been neglected because it is not published.

In 2018, we celebrated the anniversary of a dream that became a publishing project – the “Un libro por centavos” Collection – an ambitious craving that became a collective purpose for remedying a notorious gap in the publishing world.

The fifteen-year initiative transcends national and Iberoamerican spheres. The Collection is now found in the libraries of Stanford, Harvard, and Yale universities, the United States Congress, as well as prisons, cultural and literary events, university libraries, colleges and schools in municipalities and townships throughout the country.

At the end of this year, we vindicate Darío Samper, one of the most renowned “piedracielista” poets, whose work has been neglected because it is not published. Consequently, “Un libro por centavos” salvages his poetry with Book No. 152, “Soy el cantor de esta verde tierra,” an anthology selected by his daughter, Clara Samper, and collaboration by Carlos Castelblanco.
