East Egypt Center Territorial Project Academic Practices begin

On January 24, 2019, students began their practices, guided by three teachers and several organization leaders.

The Territorial Academic Practices Project in the Egypt District (Externado neighboring area), initiated six years ago by the Social and Human Sciences Faculty, presented their 2019 first-semester work at a meeting held at the Egypt District Community Library. Participants included social organization leaders and Social Work students, who, through their practices, will support local organizational processes.

Also, participants toured the territories involved in the organizations in the Egypt, Callejón San Bruno, and Belén neighborhoods.

The students carrying out the practices are mentored by three Social Work professors and leaders of the social organizations. The activity is associated with the Extension Project jointly carried out by the Externadista Library and various University Faculties.
